Shopping Tip 

  • Look for ones even in size, smooth, that's deep purple.

  • Choose dry, plump and firm blueberries.

  • If the color is reddish I would skip those since this means they are not fully ripe.

  • Shake the container. If the berries do not move there might be ones that are moldy.

  • Buy wild blueberries if you can. They are richer in phytonutrients.

Tip

  • It is best to store your blueberries in the fridge.

  • Wash right before you planning on eating.

  • Store in an open container that allow air to flow and skip the crisp draw.

  • If you see a blueberry that looks moldy remove from the container.

  • Blueberries also freeze very well.
